Each bowl is hand made from cast concrete and sealed with our Nature's Wax, an all natural, food safe bees wax sealer. The bowls are waterproof, meaning they won't leak. They are sealed with several layers for food safe sealer, but since concrete is a porous material, water will change the color of the bowl , just like a sidewalk when it rains.
