Smudging is a sacred practice that has been used through the millennia by various cultures, but is mostly associated with the indigenous people of North America. The practice of smudging involves the burning of sacred elements and wafting the smoke produced around an area, with intention and in ceremony. This smoke is believed to help clear unwanted, stagnant and/or negative energy. This kit is a perfect introductory set for anybody who is just beginning their spiritual journey, or even as a house warming gift.

Bowl Dimensions: Outside 4" in diameter, 1.75 " tall

Kit includes: Concrete Bowl, sage stick, turkey feather, white sand. Directions: Make sure that the area is well ventilated and open up windows so that the negative energies have an easy means of exiting. Light the smudge stick and when you see a flame, put the flame out using the concrete bowl and the stick will continue to smolder. Use the turkey feather to move the smoke in a clock wise motion throughout the house. As the stick burns, put the ash in the shell. When you have finished Smudging, extinguish the stick by dampening it with water, crushing it against the shell, or placing it in sand. Keep your smudge stick, feather, and shell in a special area, medicine bag, or on an altar.
